Piano Duets Evening
The family duo of famous Ukrainian pianists will play a special program in the luxurious atmosphere of the Mirror Hall’s music salon.
The concert program will feature the best samples of the piano duets from the works of L. van Beethoven, F.X. Mozart, J. Bizet, F. Poulenc and S. Rachmaninoff.

Short Description
A famous Ukrainian pianist, a Merited Artist of Ukraine. Born in Ternopil. She is a laureate of Republican competition of pianists named after M. Lysenko (1984), the International competition of chamber ensembles “Golden autumn” (1993, Khmelnytskyi), a prize-winner of the International competition of pianists named after P. O’Shea (1990, Spain). A laureate of the VІ International festival of art masters named after S. Richter (2005, Zhytomyr), the VІІ International festival named after P. Tchaikovsky and N. von Meck (2009, Vinnytsia).
Rapita intensively tours around Ukraine and abroad (Poland, Switzerland, Belgium, Germany, Austria, Russia, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. She holds a great repertoire from baroque to modernity. Performed more than 20 premieres of Ukrainian and world music, took part in CD recording with Ukrainian composers’ music (S. Lyudkevych, I. Sonevytskyi, M. Skoryk, Y. Lanyuk, V. Kaminskyi, O. Oliynyk, O. Kozarenko). O. Rapita cooperates with different symphony orchestras in Ukraine, Poland, Switzerland, Russia.
In a duo with her husband, M. Dragan, is awarded a regional premium named after S. Lyudkevych for concert programs (2009).
Myroslav Dragan is famous Lviv piano soloist, concertmaster and teacher.
He often goеs on concert tours in Ukraine and abroad (Poland, Germany, Switzerland) and is a regular participant of various music festivals, such as Kyiv Music Fest, Premieres of the Season (Kyiv), Contrasts, Virtuosi (Lviv) them. Stravinsky Festival (Lutsk), The Colors of Music (Vinnytsya), Two Days and Two Nights (Odessa), concert of “New Music in Ukraine” under the direction of Runchak. Myroslav Dragan has performed a range of modern Ukrainian (works by Sonevytsky, Simovych, Stankovych, Lyashenko, Laniyk, Kozarenko, Havrylets etc.) as well as foreign premiers (Takemitsu, Rimm, Vallin, Knapik, Crumb, Ligeti etc).
Myroslav Dragan collaborated with Abrahamian (cello, Armenia), Prunaru (violin, Romania, Switzerland), Viytovych (viola, UK), Falyosa (violin, Norway), Dzhuryn (cello, USA ), soloists «Covent Garden» and singer Shkurhan. He made a number of CD recordings, including “Lysenko Music for Shevchenko’s “Kobzar”, “Lviv Mozart” and took part in performing and recording of Arthur Honegger’s oratorio “Jeanne d’Arc on fire” in Paris, 2005 Nowadays he works in Mykola Lysenko Lviv National Music Academy.
