Yurii Bervetskyi is an Honored Artist of Ukraine.
In 2003 he became a conductor in Lviv National Opera. He directed the opera Don Giovanni by W. A. Mozart, ballets Don Quixote by L. Minkus, Le Corsaire by A. Adam, Last Night of G. Lorca by A. Sirenko, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs by B. Pavlovskyi, Scheherazade by M. Rimsky-Korsakov.
Since 2005 he is a chief conductor and artistic director of the Opera Studio of Lviv National Music Academy named after. M. Lysenko. Together with Opera studio Yu. Bervetskyi presented the following operas: Aleko by S. Rachmaninoff, L'elisir d'amore by G. Donizetti, La serva padrona by G. B. Pergolesi, Don Giovanni and Le nozze di Figaro by W. A. Mozart. He successfully conducted the masterpieces of the cantata-oratoric genre: Stabat Mater by A. Dvorak, Ellias by F. Mendelssohn. Yurii Bervetskyi and the orchestra brilliantly performed all violin concerts of M. Skoryk.
He cooperates with the well-known orchestras such as Academic Symphony Orchestra of Lviv Philharmonic National Philharmonic, INSO-Lviv, chamber orchestras “Academy”, “Lviv Virtuoso”, and choir “Dudaryk”.
Yurii Bervetskyi is involved in cultural concert activity in Ukraine and abroad. He participates in many international music festivals.
