Tadei Ryndzak – Ukrainian scene designer, People’s Artist of Ukraine (2002), winner of the A.F. Shekera Award in the field of choreographic art (2015), student and follower of the pictorial art traditions of the outstanding scene designer, People’s Artist of Ukraine, Yevhen Lysyk, under whose leadership he has begun his career.
He produced the stage design for operas “Prince Igor” by O. Borodin, “Rigoletto”, “Aida”, “Un Ballo in Maschera” by G. Verdi “Taras Bulba” by M. Lysenko, “Iolanta” by P. Tchaikovsky, “Stolen Happiness” by Y.Meitus, ” Moses” by M. Skoryk,” Don Giovanni “and” Le nozze di Figaro” by W.A.Mozart, ” Orphée et Euridice” C.-W. Gluck; ballet “Coppelia” by L. Delibes, “Swan Lake” by P. Tchaikovsky, “The Return of Butterfly” by G.Puccini-M.Scoryk and others. He designed scenery in St. Petersburg (“Lohengrin” by R. Wagner); in National Opera of Ukraine (“Aida” by G. Verdi, “Swan Lake” by P. Tchaikovsky), in Donetsk Opera and Ballet Theater (“Bogdan Khmelnytskyi” by K. Dankevych), in Odessa National Opera (“Nabucco” by G. Verdi).
Performances with the set designs of T.Ryndzak enjoy great success during guest tours abroad (Italy, France, Germany, Luxemburg, Poland, etc.). According to the top manager of the international association “Opera Europa”, T.Ryndzak scenography has special mannerism and makes the performances of Lviv National Opera unique.
