
Andrii Maslakov (bass) is a leading soloist of the National Opera of Ukraine (since 2009), winner of the international competition.
He graduated from the National Pedagogical University named after M. Dragomanov (music-pedagogical faculty, piano and conducting classes, 2001); Higher School of Music (Nuremberg, Germany) and undertook post-graduate studies at the same establishment (2009).
His repertoire includes more than twenty parts which he plays in Ukraine and abroad: Mephistopheles («Faust» by C. Gounod); Aleko («Aleko» S. Rachmaninoff); Escamillo («Carmen» by G. Bizet); Dr Dulcamara, Malatesta («L’elisir d’amore», «Don Pasquale» by G. Donizetti); Scarpia, Marcello (“Tosca”, “La Boheme”, G. Puccini); the Dutchman («Der fliegende Holländer» by R. Wagner); Caspar, Hermit («Der Freischütz « by C. M. von Weber) and others.
He has performed in the theaters of Germany, Russia, Belgium, Slovenia, Cuba and other countries of the world together with the well-known conductors. His stage partners were prominent
contemporary singers. He performs in many concerts and has records on the radio.
