Марцеліна Беушер (Польша)

http://opera.lviv.ua/zirky-opernoyi-stseny-v-operi-traviata-d-verdi/ Born in Poland, she began her music education as a cellist and started her vocal studies at the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wroclaw, Poland in the class of prof. Maria Czechowska-Królicka and graduated from the Academy with special distinction. After her graduation she spent one year in Riga, Latavia in prof. Lilija Greidane’s class. In 2018 she received a PhD in Music. She has won prizes in many national and international competitions, such as:

  • 2nd Academic Art Song Competition in Wroclaw, Poland in 2011 (Special Prize),
  • „Beatrice” International Vocal Competition in Vilnius, Lithuania in 2011 (Special Prize),
  • 3rd Adam Didur International Competition in Bytom, Poland 2012 (Special Award),
  • 16th International Vocal Competition Hariclea Darclée in Braila, Romania in 2012 (Foundation Darclée Prize),
  • 1st Andrzej Hiolski International Vocal Competition in Kudowa Zdroj, Poland in 2012 (Finalist),
  • Musica Sacra International Vocal Competition in Roma in 2012 (Prize Oratorio),
  • 6th Halina Halska-Fijałkowska International Vocal Competition in Wroclaw, Poland in 2013 (Second Prize),
  • Competition „I love Mozart”, Musical Theatre in Poznan, Poland in 2013 (First Prize).
  • 50th International Vocal Competition ‚s Hertogenbosch, Netherlands in 2014(Laureate).
  • I. International Eva Marton Singing Competition, Hungary in 2014 (3rd Prize and three Special Prizes).
  • 4th International Jazeps Vitols Singing Competition, Latvia in 2015 (First Prize).
  • 17th International Vocal Competition Hariclea Darclée in Braila, Romania in 2015 (Excelenca Prize)
  • Marcella Sembrich-Kochanska International Competition in New York, USA in 2015 (Honorable Mention)
  • Adam Didur Interational Competition, Poland in 2019 (3rd Prize, Public Prize, Opera Lviv Prize)
In 2013 she made her professional opera debut at the Gdańsk Opera Bałtycka as Violetta in „La Traviata” by G. Verdi, conducted by Andriy Yurkevych, dir. K. Sofulak, In 2014 she received Jan Kiepura Award for the best debut of the year. After her spectacular success as „Armide” J.B.Lully in Warsaw Chamber Opera (cond. B. Bayl, dir. C. D. Colonna) she was named „Operatic Revelation of 2017 Year”. During the years 2015 to 2017 Marcelina established herself a good reputation in the following polish operas: Krakow, Szczecin, Great Theatre – National Opera in Warsaw, Opera in Białystok, Warsaw Chamber Opera, Baltic State Opera and Silesian Opera. The repertoire includes following roles: Elletra (Idomeneo, W. A. Mozart), Pamina & First lady (The Magic Flute, W. A. Mozart), Armide (Armide, J. – B. Lully), Donna Anna (Don Giovanni, W. A. Mozart), Olimpia, Antonia, Giulietta & Stella (The Tales of Hoffmann, J. Offenbach), Micaëla ( Carmen, G. Bizet), Mimi (La Boheme, G. Puccini), Violetta Valéry (La Traviata, G. Verdi), Liu (Turandot, G. Puccini), Roxana (King Roger, K. Szymanowski) and Thaïs (Thaïs, J. Massenet). Her concert engagements led her to the music halls of Poland, Russia, USA, The Netherlands, Germany, Romania, Indonesia, Latvia, Lithuania, Italy and France. Marcelina Beucher has collaborated with many new directors like: M. Znaniecki, K. Sofulak L. Adamik and B. Kosky/S. Andrade and worked with known conductors including: A. Yurkevych, J. M. Florencio, T. Kozłowski and B. Bayl.
