Lviv National Opera presents the electronic library of works by Ukrainian composers “Stand with Ukraine”
Lviv National Opera presents the electronic library of works by Ukrainian composers “Stand with Ukraine”.
The team of the Lviv National Opera is convinced that the world will discover Ukrainian culture through performing and knowledge of its iconic musical works – the best operas, symphonic, ensemble, and sacred works by Ukrainian composers.
Sheet music – full scores, vocal scores, and orchestral voices are fully prepared and freely available on the theater’s website:
https://opera.lviv.ua/standwithukraine/
In particular, these are:
- Scores of the National Anthem of Ukraine,
- Symphonies by Borys Lyatoshynsky, Levko Revutsky, Maksym Berezovsky
- Overture to the opera “Taras Bulba” by Mykola Lysenko
- Symphonic and chamber works by contemporary composers Valentyn Silvestrov, Alexander Rodin, Ivan Nebesny, Mykhailo Shved, Bohdan Kryvopust and many others
There you can find notes available for free which we offer to perform at the concerts in support of the Ukrainian people. You can also perform the National Anthem of Ukraine before a concert or opera, as the Metropolitan Opera and the Royal Danish Theatre have already done.
The library will be updated every day!
Thanks to the team of the Lviv National Opera and more than 20 volunteers which help to the digitization of the Ukrainian musical heritage.
We are also grateful to the project partners –
the Publishing House “Musical Ukraine”
the Center for Music Information of the National Union of Ukrainian Composers.
