“Fox Mykyta” is our long awaited premiere

The opera is based on the poem of Ivan Franko. It’s completely new composition of Ukrainian composer Ivan Nebesnyi that is written specially for our theatre.

Based on the classical poem, trendy, with its modern music and set design, opera “Fox Mykyta” will become a significant theatrical event within the art project “Ukrainian Breakthrough” of Vasyl Vovkun.

The opera “Lys Mykyta” will be newd at Lviv National Opera in the original interpretation of the directo,r the People’s Artist of Ukraine Vasyl Vovkun. The performance will surprise and amaze both, children and adults.

On February 21, 22 and 23, 2020, the opera will impress you with amazing sound (soloists, orchestra, choir) and vivid colours (ballet, set design, costumes).
