{"id":252293,"date":"2023-10-16T20:31:47","date_gmt":"2023-10-16T17:31:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/opera.lviv.ua\/personel\/andreas-weirich-germany\/"},"modified":"2024-04-11T14:45:40","modified_gmt":"2024-04-11T11:45:40","slug":"andreas-weirich-germany","status":"publish","type":"personel","link":"https:\/\/opera.lviv.ua\/en\/personel\/andreas-weirich-germany\/","title":{"rendered":"Andreas Weirich (Germany)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"western\" style=\"text-align: justify;\" align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/opera.lviv.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/Vajrih-A.jpeg\" data-type=\"image\" data-fancybox=\"image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-36863\" src=\"https:\/\/opera.lviv.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/Vajrih-A-170x300.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"170\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a>Andreas Weirich studied from 2005 until 2010 at the LMU (Ludwig-Maximilian-university) and the Bavarian Theatre Academy August Everding in Munich, Germany.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Since 2008 is a firmly committed assistant director at the Bavarian State Opera responsible for revivals and new productions, working close with directors like Andreas Kriegenburg, Barrie Kosky, Christof Loy and Dmitri Tcherniakov.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" style=\"text-align: justify;\" align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">2010 he directed a children\u2019s opera after Purcell <i>The fairy queen<\/i>. 2012 he was committed as director for the new production of Christof Loy\u2019s <i>Lucrezia Borgia <\/i>at G\u00f6teborgs Operan in Sweden. 2013 he worked as a personal assistent for Andreas Kriegenburg\u2019s <i>Rigoletto <\/i>new production at the New National Theatre Tokyo Japan. 2013 he directed Peter Maxwell Davies\u2019 <i>Eight Songs for a Mad King <\/i>at the Cuvilli\u00e8stheater Munich, <i>Selma <\/i><span style=\"color: #1a1a1a;\"><i>Je\u017ekov\u00e1 <\/i><\/span><span style=\"color: #1a1a1a;\">by Poul Ruders (opera based on Lars von Trier\u2019s movie <\/span><span style=\"color: #1a1a1a;\"><i>Dancer in the <\/i><\/span><span style=\"color: #1a1a1a;\">Dark) during the Bavarian State Opera Festival 2015 and a new version of <\/span><span style=\"color: #1a1a1a;\"><i>The bat <\/i><\/span><span style=\"color: #1a1a1a;\">by Johann Strauss under the musical direction of Kirill Petrenko at the Bavarian State Opera in the season 2015\/2016.
