The works of Frederic Chopin exist beyond time. His music can fill the human hearts with great awe and cover with the gentle melancholy of memories. Chopin is a musical symbol of Poland and one of the representatives of European romantic composers. All Parisian bohemians wanted to visit his piano concerts. With deep sincerity and crystalline sensuality, Chopin has gained popularity and fame that has lasted for 200 years.
We invite you to a concert in the luxurious music salon of the Mirror Hall, which seems to be created for the music of Frederic Chopin.
The winner of prestigious competitions, Maxim Shadko from Kharkiv, will perform a series of Chopin’s preludes, nocturnes and polonaises.

Maksym Shadko was born in 1993 in Kharkiv (Ukraine). In 2000 – 2011 he was studying at Kharkiv Secondary Music Boarding School (class of Prof. Nataliia Avramenko). From 2011 he has been studying with Professor Tetiana Vierkina at Kharkiv National University of Arts named after I. P. Kotlyarevsky.

Maksym is laureate of numerous international competitions, such as International Volodymyr Krainev Young Pianists Competition (2004, Ukraine, 2 prize), International competition “Night in Madrid” (2014, Spain, 1 prize), International competition in memory of Borys Lyatoshinsky (2014, France, special prize), First open contest of music art “Kharkiv assemblies” (2016, Ukraine, 1 prize), Kyiv international piano competition (2018, Ukraine, 2 prize).

In 2013 and 2014 Maksym became a co-founder of International festival of young composers and performers “Days of new music in Kharkiv”. Pianist constantly performs as a soloist with The National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine, Kharkiv Philharmonic orchestra, Young Symphony orchestra “Slobozhansky”. Maksym has participate in the master classes of professors Dmytro Aleksieev, Milana Chernyavska, Pavlo Gililov, Serhii Edelmann, Wolfgang Manz, Giuliano Mazzoccante, Lev Natochenny and master classes of Fryderyk Chopin Music Academy (Lahr/Germany).

From 2018 VERE MUSIC FUND is supporting Maksym by providing him a grant.
