Nataliia Davydovska (1953-95) is a Ukrainian poetess. She graduated from Philology Faculty of Ivan Franko Lviv University and from Literature Institute named after Gorky (Moscow). She is the author of the collections of poetry: “Eyewitness”, “Bird Grove”, “My Cities”, “Born in December”, “Garden of Eternity”, “Frescos” (selected). The idea of ​​the poem about Solomia Krushelnytska, the prominent Ukrainian opera prima donna of the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th centuries,  is expressed in the words:

“The life of the artist is a brilliant myth,

And the truth comes after, the truth is in immortality.”
